About Douglas L. Schutte

Doug began his career in the financial services industry in 1984. He transitioned his business to financial planning and investment advisory in 1996, with the conviction and belief that by providing comprehensive planning for clients, he could help them realize more complete and fulfilling lives. He utilizes a holistic approach to planning that encompasses Retirement and Investment Planning, Tax, Estate and Charitable Planning. To help clients navigate the increasing complexities of the U.S. Tax Code, Doug formed Summit Accounting Solutions, LLC in 2010 to provide Tax Accounting, Bookkeeping and Tax Preparation services.

Doug believes in the importance of participating in his community and church. He has coached youth hockey, baseball and softball, as well as served on and chaired numerous committees within his church and local non-profit organizations.

In his spare time, Doug enjoys playing trombone at local events in Chautauqua County with his band.
