Jim Wood has dedicated his entire career to helping people manage their money effectively and meaningfully. He began in commercial banking, where he spent 13 years developing a strong foundation in financial services. For the past 25 years, Jim has been a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, helping individuals and families create thoughtful strategies to make the most of what they’ve earned.

Jim’s approach to financial planning is rooted in the belief that money should serve a greater purpose. He helps clients turn their hard work and sacrifice into meaningful plans, encouraging them to use money as a tool to enhance their lives, rather than something to be worshipped.

Outside the office, Jim enjoys traveling to far-off destinations with his wife, Julie, and continues his lifelong quest to become a better-than-average golfer. He is a voracious reader, enjoys political discussions, and regularly tackles crossword puzzles. Jim is a proud father of two grown children, both of whom he says, “married well,” and is the grandfather of two perfect granddaughters with a grandson on the way. He is also a passionate supporter of St. Louis City SC and Liverpool FC.
