About Rolf A. Trautsch, CFP®

Rolf Trautsch is a retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel whose distinguished career included service at Air Force Bases in Danang, Vietnam, and Takhli, Thailand during the Vietnam War. He also served at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, the German Air Force Academy near Munich, Germany, and the Defense Language Institute (DLI) in Monterey, California.

Following his military service, Rolf served as Resident Dean for Golden Gate University’s Monterey Branch, where he also supervised the university’s branches in Goleta, as well as at Vandenberg and March Air Force Bases in California.

An active member of his community, Rolf has been a Rotarian since 1990 and a member of the Carmel Rotary Club since 2002. He has also been involved with the Pacific Grove Police Citizens Academy since 2008.
